TO VIEW ITEMS FOR SALE, PLEASE SCROLL PAST THE HISTORY SECTION:- 1985 - Grimwades Brothers (pottery) founded by Leonard Lumsden Grimwade. He was joined by his brother Sidney Richard. 1906 - Grimwades Ltd operating 4 factories 1928 'Marguerite' the first Royal Winton Chintz pattern was launched and was an immediate success. A further 60 chintz patterns were to follow. 1929 - Trade name changed to Royal Winton 1995 - New owners reverted the trade name back to Grimwades Ltd Old Chintz patterns are now being re-introduced
