1894 - founded by Thomas Clark Wild

1896-1904 - T.C.W. on earlier stamps

1897 - produced the first Royal Commemmorative Ware for Queen Victorias Diamond Jubilee

The name 'Albert' is linked to Prince Albert (King George VI - 1936) - China initially branded Albert Crown China

1904 - Royal was added to the trade name

1917 - '& Sons' added to hallmark

1925-35 - 'St Marys Works' on hallmark

1927-35 - some exclusive hand painted designs by 'Lawley's' added to hallmark

1933 - became Ltd

1962 - launch of 'Old Country Roses' designs by Harold Holdcroft

1972 - Peter Roberts succeeded H Holdcroft and continued the floral tradition.
